Things are happening!

Earlier this month, on December 7, 2008, my fiance(Brandy Stroh) and I interviewed a long time idol of mine. I was dubbed official reporter for the horror news site, Horror-101.com(The Thinking Persons Horror Website)
The man we interviewed was Nivek Ogre of the legendary industrial/electronic rock band, Skinny Puppy. He has a side/solo project called ohGr and they released a new album(Devils in my Details). We interviewed him on video just a few hours before his band put on a live show in support of the new album. We talked about the new album, his new friendship with actor Bill Moseley and the acting gig he got in the new movie, Repo! The Genetic Opera. It was a great time. Ogre was very personable and even brought Brandy some water! The show the band put on was fantastic. To view the interview, go to Horror-101 to see it. Or just keep scrolling down.

In other news, Ive been putting in some final touches on the special edition of the Curse of the Zombanna. I have yet to rewrite the narration and record that. I may also add a new score to the film as well. In addition to that, I will be working a new film. My plan is that this new film will be a full length feature film with parts of it in anaglyph 3D. It will be a horror film and it is my hope that the imagery will be something special and unique. This new film is as yet untitled and I still have to write the script out. It shall take some time, but another goal for this is to make it in high definition as well. That really depends on how quickly I can get my hands on a new computer that will be able to handle the HD. Fear not, I will also make a standard definition version of the film as well for all those that have to venture into the world of HD.

Thats really it for now.......so check out my interview with Ogre. Also included here is a short video clip of further discussion with Ogre, myself and Brandy about things like cartoons and video games. Enjoy!

New Paintings

These are only pictures of the paintings for now. I'll eventually add some higher resolution scans of them, just as soon as I have the money to buy a new scanner. But here they are:

Lots of things going on

I've been keeping myself pretty busy with my free time. I've done several new
paintings and I've also done some sculpture. The new sculpture is going to be made
into a doll type thing. The limbs will be poseable. I'll have some pictures of it up
just as soon as I finish it.

The paintings on the other hand...I can post pictures of them, and only pictures
because my scanner/printer decided to die on me. Just after I bought new ink for
it no less. The printer takes six seperate ink cartridges and it cost me about $100.

The painting pictured here is a kind of self portrait. I've done a few others, and I shall post
them soon.

New Web Design

So this is yet another new website design for me. Its very simple and with the integration of my blog directly onto the site, it ll make updating the site with news and images and such much easier for me. Therefore, I will be more likely to update on a regular basis, or somewhat regular anyway.
Click on the little icons to be directed to other online presences. There are links in the link section to the sites of friends and other things. Thanks for stopping by and click around to see my art work.

Thanks!

Photo Posting Test

This is a photo posting test. The picture is a small
sculpture I did. The sculpture was done in super
sculpey and then baked and painted.
The next step
was to cover it glue. When the glue was near dry,
I then stuck cotton balls on it, let them sit for a minute
and then picked the excess off. After that, I covered it in
latex and when the latex dried, I painted it. This gives the
effect of the creature having a membrane around it.
The creature will fit into a small plastic jar, I will then fill
the jar with a liquid. I have not yet decided on what the
liquid will be, but when finished it will look like a specimen jar.
I will also add a label from the labs at "Miskatonic University"
to the side of the jar.
