Not feeling so good

Because I am sick. I don't think I've been this sick in years. I hate it. It totally sucks. I feel weak and as a result I have not really had the motivation to do much. That is all. Have a nice day.

REPO! The Genetic Opera...and Ogre

January 17th 2009, Brandy and I went to a screening of the movie, Repo! The Genetic Opera. People arrived in costume as characters for the movie. This was part of a road tour the director, Darren Lynn Bousman and some of the stars were taking around the country to show the movie. Darren was there as was the co-creator of the original stage show and the Graverobber character in the movie, Terrance Zdunich. Before the movie, the people in costume danced on the little stage in front of the screen.
There was a small costume contest as well. After that, Bousman talked a bit before the movie started and encouraged everyone who knew the words to the songs in the movie to sing along and dance in the ailses. They did. All through the movie. It was fantastic. After the movie, Bousman, Zdunich, and Vega did a Q&A session with the audience and then signed things for everyone.
It was a great movie and a wonderful experience. If you havent seen the movie yet, its on DVD and Blu-Ray now, rent it, or better yet, buy it!

Also , I just wanted post a scan of the album, Devils in My Details, by ohGr. Nivek Ogre signed it for me after the interview I did with him on December 7th 2008 with Brandy Stroh for Horror-101.com.

New Film Progress

Still writing and prepping for my new film. It will be a full length feature film. However, it will also be an anthology film. That means, it will be a collection of short stories put together as one film, kind of like the movie Creepshow. I will be using a lot of animation effects in this one to try to make the film as unique as I can. This will also allow me to make two versions of the film. One version will be a standard one, and the other will be in anaglyph 3-D. So far all I have done is collect research information, write out the basic story outlines, and some video tests. I have also done some creature design. If all works out, I may have a few other surprises to go along with this as well.

Here is one of the tests I have done. Its a method of turning a regular 2d photograph into a 3d looking video. This has not been done yet for the 3d glasses, but later tests and the film itself will have to be rendered from two camera angles in order to produce the real 3d look that you would need the glasses for. So, enjoy!
